To use RCN Music you must have the following MINIMUM hardware and software:
- Microsoft Windows XP or Vista
- Intel Pentium III or higher microprocessor
- ActiveX Enabled or Internet Explorer Security Settings on Medium or Lower
- Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
- Broadband Internet connection
- Performer Digital Web Access requires Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher
- 128MB or higher disk space recommended for the Performer Digital player and your music
- 128MB RAM or higher recommended
- Sound card and speakers or headphones

 Compatible portable music players
Permanent and subscription downloads can only be transferred to portable media players that support the Windows Media Audio (WMA) format. Some portable players do not support WMA.
